A Navy spokesman visited NexTech to help students learn about some World War II events that took place in the Pacific Ocean. He spoke about the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor as well as some events that took place on other Pacific Rim islands during the early years of World War II. He also spoke about life on a submarine at that time.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions about World War II event and about life in the navy.
