Mrs. Cristina Zuberbier

Cristina Zuberbier comes to NexTech High School with 13 years of experience. Fun fact, Cristina was at NexTech High School when the school first opened in 2012 and was first called Nexus Academy of Grand Rapids. She is excited to be back at the school and working with students! 

Cristina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Michigan State University (Go Green! Go White!). After being an Advocate for an 8th grade student during her time at Michigan State, she found helping others was where her passion was. She decided to continue her education at Oakland University where she earned her Master of Arts degree in General Counseling with a focus in School Counseling. She has experience as a school counselor in Arizona, North Carolina as well as in Michigan. Outside of school she enjoys baking and spending time with her husband, and two daughters.
